Caleb's fine motor skills have really taken off this summer. He can now write his name and is drawing pictures of people. The people that he draws are funny because they are usually one big oval for a body, straight lines for the arms and legs, huge eyes and a giant smile. Sometimes, he even gives the people some hair. Here is an example of how he writes his name. This one is really funny to me because he ran out of room on the paper, so he combined the E and the B. Sometimes, he throws me for a loop and writes it completely mirror-imaged. We bought him a Leapster Explorer in July and he loves to practice writing letters on it.
